The Season Of Giving: Pink Fringe Dress & 55,000 Dress Collection Pink Gown

Time to deck the halls for the upcoming holiday season. I am Canadian so my Thanksgiving was celebrated in October however the American thanksgiving is observed next week. My current geographical location will not hold me back from dragging our my decorations and giving the tree a trim now. I had the pleasure of Visiting the Cambria Nursery Gift Shop yesterday to shoot some holiday images for Evolution Vintage.

We visit the Cambria Christmas Market every year to check out the amazing vendors, have a cup of hot chocolate, become inspired by the lights and sounds of the season and of course to shop and acquire a new ornament /decoration (or two) for the year. Check out my experience last year HERE

Every year the holiday set up's and decor is different but equally inspiring. The Christmas Market opens Nov 24-Dec 23. The gift shop however is open daily with gorgeous decor for every taste. Everything pictured as props or in the background is available for sale directly in the gift shop.

Who's ready to deck the halls?

Pink Holiday Style

The holiday season is here! In the US this encompasses Thanksgiving and for people in the rest of the world the halls have all ready been decked and trees ready to be trimmed for Christmas. The holidays to me mean parties, celebrations, dinners, and gatherings of all kinds, sizes and calibers.

Everyone has a certain combination of colors for their interior (and exterior) decor to reflect who they are and I would guess that the same is true for their holiday wardrobe. From casual chic to gown gorgeous you know, through color what says holidays to you.

I personally have a broader scope from the traditional red, green and gold that is typical at this time of year, even beyond silver, blue and white ... what about PINK?

It is a fabulous accent to silver and winter white and in pretty opposition to the seasons traditional fiery red. Pink is not a "traditional" holiday color or even usually part of the fall/winter color pallet but for me it is a beautiful option for holiday dressing!

Triple Threat: In Sequin's

I love me some sparkle both in jewelry and clothing. Last night to dinner I took my new FAV top. In stunning sequins this vintage dolman sleeve top (from 4 Birds Vintage) rocked my world.

 Fashion Fact: A Dolman Sleeve is a sleeve that is very wide at the armhole and tapers to a tight wrist. 

This piece is actually quite versatile. I style a top like this 3 ways!

1) Wear it "backwards" 

Original intended back.

 I wore it backwards and tucked the button and loop underneath to create the "V" look.

2) The forward facing, traditional way.

3) Off the Shoulder.

*Open the back button and loop and pull the top off the shoulder
