I LOVE Fashion "Reality" television. I have to say that it makes me very happy to see the mainstream networks shining their light on this industry that is full of creative, talented and hard working people. A brand new show is poised to take your TV by storm this February: THE FACE. The kick off special will air Tuesday Feb, 5th at 9PM EST/PST on Oxygen and the Series Premier is set to air Tues. Feb. 12th at 9PM EST/PST.
The FACE is a new modelling reality show that stars 3 Models at the top of the industry;
Coco Rocha
Karoline Kurkova
and Fashion/Modelling Icon Naomi Campbell.
The ladies go heel to heel as coaches of modelling teams. They are looking for the ULTAmate FACE. The winner of this competition will be the new FACE of ULTA beauty. The show is hosted by famed fashion photographer, Nigel Barker.
In my ProFashional opinion this show is shaping up to the the antidote to America's Next Top Model. A REAListic look into the business that is more professional and polished than ANTM. ALL of these models are at the top of their game, working currently in the industry and not resting on laurels of former fame (Sorry Tyra!)
